US Evangelist order his followers to Buy him the 4th Private Jet

LOUISIANA -  US evangelist was publicly criticized after asking the congregation to buy him a fourth private jet. In making the request, he carries the name of Jesus.

The Louisiana-based evangelist was named Jesse Duplantis. His net worth is $ 40 million. He currently has three private jets.

Duplantis's request sparked criticism because he said, "If Jesus is alive today, he will not ride a donkey."

Surprisingly, his desire to own a fourth private jet was claimed to be God's command.

The fourth jet he wants is the Dassault Falcon 7X, a private jet with three engines capable of carrying 12 to 16 passengers at speeds of up to 700 miles per hour. According to SherpaReport data, the plane's price is about $ 54 M.

The preacher explained he need the fourth private jet while on the "This week with Jesse" show. In the show, he stood beside the framed photographs of his jet fleet.

On that occasion, he pointed out that the plane he bought 12 years ago required refueling, which meant he had to pay a very expensive refueling fee.

Just for fuel costs, he felt overwhelmed so he asked his followers to help pay for buying the fourth private jet.

"Now, some people believe that preachers should not have jets," Duplantis said in a video on his website, quoted by USA Today, May 30, 2018.

"I truly believe that the preacher should go to every available voice, every available channel, to spread the gospel to the world," he went on to explain the reason why he needs the fourth private jet.

He claimed God's will was behind his idea to have a private jet. However, he allegedly coveted his fellow Kenneth Copeland's jetliner, who bought his own Gulfstream V jet in January.

Duplantis said private jets would be used by his successor after his death. He is known as a wealthy evangelist, but his wealth is the gift of his loyal followers.

The public through social media criticized Duplantis's request, especially in relation to religion. "This is very dirty," writes Twitter @ShaunKing Twitter account commenting on Duplantis news.

Twitter account user @RogerIceman commented; "The sad thing is, the people who become his followers will probably really donate."
