The United States government and the Pentagon are exploring the installation of more satellite networks orbiting the earth in connection with the formation of the space force.
This military satellite network will be equipped with various sensors and sophisticated motion tracking such as infrared sensors to lock the enemy missile movement position.
The government is also preparing a new kinetic interceptor system, which will involve weapons maker Raytheon.
Michael Griffin, Deputy Minister of Defense in Research and Engineering, supports the development of a new weapons system based on laser weapons in space and particle beam systems to shoot down enemy missiles.
"In the next decade, I want a weapon system that can be installed in space and protect us against enemy strategic attacks," Griffin told an explanation in Congress in early 2018 as reported by the Boston Globe on Saturday, August 18, 2018. "This technology is in our grip if we focus on developing it. "

Griffin is a veteran of the Strategic Defense Initiative team during the era of President Ronald Reagan's administration in the 1990s. SDI is a defense system which is also referred to as Star War or Star Wars, which is tasked with destroying various enemy attacks that come from space.
As reported earlier, Vice President Mike Pence, as reported by Reuters, said the US government wanted an independent space forces corps and operated in 2020. According to the Boston Globe, strong supporters of the formation of the US space forces are pushing for the installation of laser weapons systems and particle-beams in Earth orbit in the next ten years.
According to Senator Ed Markey of the Democratic Party, space-based weapons will get a response from Russia, China and other countries. So, this will encourage an increase in the space forces budget. "We have to shop smart instead of crazy shopping," Markey said.
