The Avengers Endgame made a new history in the film industry. The Marvel Studios film made more than 1 B $ on its screening debut. According to Disney's predictions, Endgame generated 1.2 billion US dollars from all over the world in just five days.

From screenings in North America, Avengers: Endgame generates 350 M US dollars until Sunday (4/28/2019). Even though the film just played on Friday (4/26/2019).
The record broke by Infinity War which earned 258 million US dollars on the opening weekend. The Avenger Endgames earning in North America exceeded expectations. Last week film observers predicted Endgame earnings ranged from 260 million dollars to 300 million dollars. Meanwhile, the global Avengers: Endgame has reached 859 million US dollars.
Endgame's dominance was boosted by Chinese audiences. In that country Endgame earned 330.5 million US dollars. "We witnessed a monumental moment in the history of cinema - something that the whole world experienced together," said Shawn Robbins, an analyst at Boxoffice.com. Marvel Studios produced nearly 20 billion US dollars from the 22 Marvel Cinematic Universe films in the last 10 years. "Although Endgame is not the end of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the first 22 films recorded extraordinary achievements," Alan Horn, chairman of Walt Disney Studios, said in a statement.
"Monumental success this weekend is a legacy to the world they imagine," Horn continued. Meanwhile, Comscore's art analyst Paul Dergarabedian said Endgame signaled the end of an era but also opened the door for a new and exciting chapter for the Marvel brand in the future. "It is likely that we will witness the synergy between the small screen (television) and the big screen in the future," he said.
