Apple is expected to use three cameras at the rear in the iPhone product, follow the design of Huawei P20 Pro which has been released to the market. The company, based in Cupertino, United States was mentioned will use three cameras on the iPhone to be released in 2019.
This is predicted by analysts from Yuanta Securities, Jeff Pu. According to Jeff, as quoted GSM Arena, Tuesday (5/8/2018), iPhone is expected to be launched in the second half of 2019 or around July-December. Unfortunately, the information expressed by the analyst is not so complete. He did not mention clearly, what kind of lens/sensor that will be used on the iPhone with three cameras.
Nevertheless, it is expected that the iPhone will bring a lens with 3x optical zoom capability on the back, currently, the latest iPhone has 2x optical zoom capability without reducing image quality. The rear camera with three lenses is likely to be a feature that Apple provides for high-end iPhone.
So if this news is true, then most likely this feature will be present at the third-generation iPhone X or iPhone X Plus which will be launched around September 2019. The three camera feature on the back of the smartphone was first introduced by Huawei on the P20 Pro model. Even the P20 model until now still get predicate best smartphone with three cameras. Other sensors, 20 megapixels specifically for monochrome (black and white), and one more resolution 8-megapixel camera has a 3x optical zoom lens capability.
