Rossi Start Frustrated with Yamaha performance, after Fails in Spanish MotoGP


Jerez - Valentino Rossi threw a harsh critique on Yamaha's performance after he got a bad result on Spanish MotoGP. Yamaha accused of not responsive and start to him make frustration.

Rossi completed the Spanish MotoGP in the order of five. The result is actually not exactly bad, only The Doctor grabbed after three riders in the front row had an accident at once.

Rossi just finished fifth in Jerez, while Vinales in the seventh position. They could both finish in that position because it benefited from a successive accident involving Andrea Dovizioso, Jorge Lorenzo, and Dani Pedrosa.

After the race, Rossi complained about his frustration because the bike is not competitive. One of the main problems in the current M1 motor is related to electronic devices. The 39-year-old rider was hoping Yamaha immediately make a improvement.

The failure of Yamaha to compete with the front row to make Rossi began to run out of patience. The Doctor voiced his frustration because Yamaha is considered slow response to what he asked.

"It's very unfortunate because the other parts of the bike this year are good, but we need it (overcoming electronics issues) and I hope Yamaha gives 100% to solve the problem as soon as possible," Rossi said as quoted by Autosport.

"I do not think we need a radical change, we just have to overcome two or three things, if Yamaha is 100% committed we can do it sooner," he said.

"I will continue to try and hope that if we can solve the problem, we can be more competitive in Le Mans (next series) .When we will be tough at Le Mans it will always depend on the track, maybe we will not be too difficult"

According to Rossi, M1 does not require a major change. Only, the improvement should be done as soon as possible so that he is not getting left behind from the rivals.

Rossi is now ranked sixth in the rider standings with 40 points. Italian rider was behind 30 points behind Marc Marquez who was at the top.
