BOSTON - Bose launches a revolutionary car suspension called Project Sound. Devices created since 30 years ago, reappointed and ready to be marketed by ClearMotion.
Bose well known so far is the manufacturer of audio devices. US audio device manufacturers are often found in the world's luxury car brand. The company founded by Amar Bose since 1964, earns $ 4.1B in 2017.
Bose created a car suspension revolution by the name of Project Sound in the past three decades. The project allows the vehicle to run normally, even though the road conditions surged to damaged though.
Unfortunately, this technology is never publicized. In other words, Bose never commercially their product innovation. A startup called ClearMotion makes this sophisticated tech suspension soon come true with the name ActiValve.
ClearMotion teamed up with Qualcomm and Bridgestone to create a revolutionary suspension technology, a reality and will be mass produced. In its development, they are likely to prepare these shock absorbers for autonomous cars.
A smart car that does not require the driver, is expected to provide a different experience than usual. So passengers from autonomous cars can perform various activities such as working in a vehicle.
It is said that Bose uses a modified MacPherson strut suspension. They replace spring and shock that are considered traditional with magnets, propulsion motors, and regulatory systems.
Bose creates a proactive suspension with features to read the path to be traversed and then react. The result of the vehicle will go very smooth with very minimal movement. This suspension also able to eliminates of body roll while a car in extreme maneuvering
