Aston Martin officially introduced the DBS Superleggera sports car to the public in a global launch in London on Tuesday (26/6). DBS Superleggera using lightweight construction structure technology will later replace the iconic type Aston Martin Vanquish S.
The All-New Aston Martin DBS Superleggera revives two well-known names namely "DBS" as an iconic name that first appeared in 1967 and "Superleggera" as a famous touring symbol.
"DBS Superleggera not only marks the return of Aston Martin's great name but gives us a signal of our return to the top of the Super GT sector, lightweight carbon composite and aluminum body formed provide a measurable beauty and extraordinary charisma," said President & Chief Executive Officer Aston Martin Dr. Andy Palmer in a written statement.
Wrapped with carbon fiber body panels that are neatly formed, the appearance of DBS Superleggera is very muscular and has a very individual style.

DBS Superleggera uses the latest generation of lightweight aluminum structured chassis that was first used on DB11 with double wishbone on the front and a sophisticated multi-link system on the back.
The latest generation adaptive damping is also installed as a standard equipped sensor to detect driving conditions. Powertrain and chassis have a choice of three driving modes - GT, Sport and Sport + - which the driver can choose to increase or decrease the Superleggera DBS response according to the driver's needs.
This car accelerates from 0-100km / h in just 3.4 seconds and 0-160 km / h is achieved in 6.4 seconds, and gear acceleration from 80-160 km / h is achieved in fourth gear in just 4.2 seconds .
