Ducati triumphed in MotoGP Italy by taking the podium 1 and 2, Jorge Lorenzo as the winner followed by Andrea Dovizioso. Valentino Rossi was third, while Marc Marquez crashed failed to gain points.
In a race along the 23 laps at Circuit Mugello on Sunday (3/6/2018), Lorenzo is very dominant from start to finish. The Spaniard took first place from Valentino Rossi after the start and was not overtaken.
Dovizioso trailed Lorenzo in most of the races until the finish. Rossi had to settle for third place finish, followed by Andrea Iannone, Alex Rins in the top five.

In the race at Circuit Mugello on Sunday (3/6/2018), Lorenzo starts perfectly, as usual, his distinctive style that immediately shot to the forefront. That position continues to be maintained by this Spanish rider to cross the finish line with a difference of more than 1.5 minutes from Dovizioso was behind him.
Valentino Rossi finished third after going through tough competition with riders like Andrea Iannone, Alex Rins and Danilo Petrucci to snatch the third podium.
Marquez appeared promising at the start by being in the front row before crashed. Although able to continue the race, the Honda rider failed to get a point because of the 16th.
However, Marquez is still at the top of the standings. The defending champions still lead the championship by gaining 95 points ahead 23 points from Rossi, his closest rival. Vinales in third position (67) is one digit away from Dovizioso.
Meanwhile, an additional 25 points make Lorenzo climb to 10th place with 41 points.
