Japan's Bullet Train Shinkansen Hello Kitty Edition Officially Launch

FUKUOKA, - Japanese bullet train, Shinkansen, Hello Kitty edition was inaugurated on Saturday (30/09/2018). The bullet train will continue to serve the passengers on the route connecting Hakata Station in Fukuoka with Osaka.

In the inauguration ceremony attended by hundreds of fans the cat character, the bullet train with the pink and white dominant carriage was making its first journey delivered by a conductor dressed in Hello Kitty. Local media said 400,000 people attended the inauguration of Shinkansen Hello Kitty. The special train will operate for up to three months ahead and only serve the routes of Fukuoka and Osaka.

The train will travel from Hakata Station in Fukuoka to Shin-Osaka Station once every day. West Japan Railway Company (JR West) as the Shinkansen train operator expressed their hope that the bullet train could contribute to increasing tourism in Fukuoka and Osaka.

In addition to the dominance of pink and white, on the exterior is decorated with pink ribbon images that extend in the series of eight train carriage. In the interior, also thick with shades of Hello Kitty, ranging from pastel colors, as well as various ornaments Hello Kitty themed.
