Washington - White House press secretary Sarah Sanders was kicked out from one restaurant because the restaurant owner is unwilling to serve the woman who works for Trump.
Reported by Reuters on Sunday (24/06/2018), Sarah Sanders said it happened on Friday (22/6), at a restaurant in Virginia.
"I was told last night by Red Hen's owner in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I went politely," Sanders said in an official account of the White House Press Secretariat on Saturday (23/6). POTUS is short for President of The United States, aka President of United States.
"The action talks more about him than about me, and I always do my best to treat people, including treating people who differ with me, with respect, and I will continue to do so," Sanders said.
The Red Hen, the restaurant that kicked out Sanders, has not confirmed Sanders' statement. Their site is also inactive. Many people criticize attitude of the restaurant.

This weekend, Secretary Department of Homeland Security Kirsten Nielsen has been attacked by protesters in a Mexican restaurant, in Washington DC. The protesters shouted "Shame! Shame!"
Nielsen finally left the restaurant, this protest lasted as the Trump government fight for a zero-tolerance immigration policy on the US-Mexico border.
The Red Hen, located roughly 200 miles outside Washington, D.C., is a farm-to-table, American fare restaurant.. The restaurant's owner, Stephanie Wilkinson, explained to the Washington Post why she turned Sanders and her family out of the restaurant.
"I'm not a huge fan of confrontation," Wilkinson told the Post. "I have a business, and I want the business to thrive. This feels like the moment in our democracy when people have to make uncomfortable actions and decisions to uphold their morals."
