The explosion that occurred in Surabaya on Sunday (13/5) morning occurred in three different churches. The perpetrator is allegedly disguised to enter the Church as a congregation and detonate a suicide bomb.
The blast, which allegedly came from a suicide bombing occurred in three different places, namely in front of Santa Maria de Ripoll Ngagel Road north, GKI Diponegoro, and GPPS Sawahan in Jalan Arjuno, Surabaya. The incident happened around 7:00 am when the congregation worshiped.
East Java Police Commissioner Frans Barung Mangera said the chronology of the three-place bomb blast was that the perpetrator disguised himself as a church congregation, then blew himself up to some victims around him.
"We see this incident occurred suicide attempt, which has been identified dead at scene 3, in Hospital 1, wounded police officer guard two, and people who wounded 13," said Head of Police Public Relations of East Java Kombes Frans Barung.
He said there are currently 13 people including police officers hospitalized
Gripping atmosphere occurred around the site of the Santa Maria Church explosion, Surabaya and visible body pieces splattered at the scene.

Journalists reported that 100 meters from the scene said it was confirmed three people who died from the explosion.
A fully armed police, aided by the Army, has been mobilized to sterilize and drive out citizens who want to see the scene.
Two confirmed explosions occurred at Indonesian Christian Church and Santa Maria Church, Surabaya.
Head of Public Relations of Police Headquarters Inspector General Setyo Wasisto confirmed the incident without mentioning the location.
"There is a suspicion of a bomb explosion, while the local police are currently making efforts such as casualty evacuation and location security. And no party has claimed responsibility for the suicide attack.
