Barcelona - Jorge Lorenzo became the winner in 2018 MotoGP Catalunya. Ducati Rider was master of the race that runs boring.
In a quick race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Sunday (17/06/2018) night local time, Lorenzo took the lead position. He was overtaken by Marc Marquez, but before the first lap finished it was back to be the leader of the race.
Lorenzo is not overtaken in 24 rounds with a record time of 40 minutes 13.566 seconds. He was 4.479 seconds faster than Marquez in second place.
With this victory, Lorenzo able to win the race twice in a row in 2018 MotoGP. Previously, he won in MotoGP Italy.
Lorenzo now equals the number Andrea Dovizioso in the drivers' standings. Both Ducati riders are equally gained 66 points, are in the seventh-eighth position of the standings.
Meanwhile, Marquez is still in first place standings with 105 points. Valentino Rossi, who finished third, was second in the standings with 88 points.
Maverick Vinales added 10 points after finishing sixth in Catalunya. He finished third with 77 points.
Meanwhile, Andrea Dovizioso slipped four positions after failing to finish in Catalunya. Dovizioso fell to eighth in the standings with 66 points.
