A new study suggests that just by walking for 20 minutes can reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer’s in old age.
Alzheimer’s is one of the diseases of aging are caused by a neurological condition in which there is memory loss and personality changes as well as the ability to express yourself.
Generally, Alzheimer’s attacking someone at the age of 65 years, so that Alzheimer’s disease is often linked as aging.
However, it turns out that the recorded history of Alzheimer’s was first identified from a woman who suffered from the disease at the early age of 50 years.
There is no certain drugs that can prevent Alzheimer’s disease, and various studies have been conducted to find an effective way to ward off Alzheimer’s disease.
One is a new study conducted by researchers from Cambridge, the researchers revealed that by daily walk or minor exercise routine for 20 minutes three times a week can help prevent Alzheimer’s disease.
There are many known causes that lead to diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, obesity, smoking, and high blood pressure.
However, lack of exercise was also found to be the sole cause of the risk of Alzheimer’s disease, the researchers believe that regular physical activity can supply the blood flow to the brain. It is thought to be able to prevent the buildup of protein plaques in the brain that cause Alzheimer’s disease.
The researchers say that adults can drastically reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease just by walking regularly every day.
“Noteworthy is that there are aspects of a healthy life can reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s, but this does not mean that can prevent the disease, but there is the proportion that can be prevented,” said Professor Carol Brayne of Cambridge University’s Institute of Public Health, UK.
Professor Brayne said that if someone had started exercising they will be more likely to eat healthily and stop smoking in order to reduce Alzheimer’s disease.
The study has been published in the journal Lancet Neurology, analyzed 30 studies related to dementia or Alzheimer’s disease related by lifestyle.
The researchers found that a lack of exercise contribute to the risk of Alzheimer’s by 22%, two times more than any other cause.
Dr. Doug Brown of the Alzheimer’s Society, said, “This valuable new study adds to a lot of hard evidence that shows that simple lifestyle changes can help reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s.
