Trump sign Executive Orders to Stop the Immigrant Family Separation Rules

Having been criticized worldwide, President Donald Trump has finally signed an order to stop the policy of separating immigrant children from their families on the border of the United States and Mexico.

Through a warrant signed on Wednesday (20/6), Trump determined that immigrant families should be detained together when arrested entering the US illegally. However, their violations will still be processed.

"It's a matter of uniting families and at the same time ensuring that we have a strong border," Trump said.

Trump signed the warrant after being criticized by many, especially when a video showing immigrant children was crying inside a prison with conditions like cages scattered in cyberspace

The child is considered a "victim" of Trump's policy that has been criticized not only by local authorities, but also by international human rights institutions, until Pope Francis.

Under the policy, authorities may indict immigrants caught crossing the Mexican border illegally. While adults are in jail, their children are sent to government shelters.

An official at the White House said that Trump finally realized that the policy of separating immigrant children from the family would create a prolonged political problem.

However, according to some observers, this new warrant policy still causes further problems.

"This order will replace crisis with each other. Children should not be in jail, even with their parents once," said former executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union, Anthony Romero.

Continuing his statement, Romero said, "If the president thinks put the family in prison is what the people want, he was really a misunderstanding."

Furthermore, there is now a question of how to reunite the 2,342 children who had been separated from their parents for 5 May to 9 June.

To address the issue of these immigrants, the US Congress considered a number of possible new rules.

On Thursday (21/6), the US House of Representatives is also scheduled to hold a vote on two rules on termination of family separation policies and a number of other immigration issues.
