WASHINGTON - Hillary Clinton states, as a former senior KGB agent, Russian President Vladimir Putin has the ability to read people and manipulate the person.
Speaking during a talk show at OZY Fest, a music, politics, ideas, and food festival, in New York City, Hillary Clinton has rebuked President Donald Trump for his performance at the Helsinki summit with Vladimir Putin earlier this week, warning that the US risked “losing friends and allies.” Hillary said, this is one of the reasons why US President Donald Trump did not confront Putin over alleged Russian interference in the 2016 US election.
Addressing this week’s burning topic, the 2016 Democratic candidate has once again brought up the issue of Russia’s alleged meddling in the US presidential election, having dismissed Trump’s handling of the matter in talks with Putin as “really distressing and alarming.
"Looks like our president does not care. Putin has a very clear strategy. As a former KGB spy, he is quite adept at reading people and understanding how to manipulate them, "Clinton said.
"He (Trump) wants to be friends with Putin for reasons we all try to find out, which is worrying, and that's worrying at so many levels," she said, as quoted by Sputnik on Sunday (22/7).

Hillary then asks Trump to clarify the content of his conversation with Putin. As is known, during a private talk with Putin, Trump refused to be accompanied by anyone.
"We do not know what is being said in the room between them, Putin tells the world what is said, but we hear the crickets of the White House. Do not get me wrong, this is a direct attack on our democracy. The idea that we are not sure where our own president is very sad, "she said.
Trump's opponent in the US presidential election said that Trump alienated the allies, thus losing status and creating an empty space, allowing "enemies" like China to step in to fill the empty space.
